Varsity vs Austin: November 10

The Rangers beat Austin 20-19 !

Elliot Coffey scored on a 14-yard run with 11:43 to go in the 2nd quarter, and Taylor Vernotzy kicked the extra point.
Austin scored a field goal with 5:24 left in the 2nd quarter.
With 0:26 left in the 2nd quarter, Derek Carr threw a 13-yard pass to Brandon Roddy, who caught it but fumbled on the 1-yard line, where it was recovered by Kyle Hoke, who went in for the touchdown. Taylor Vernotzy kicked the extra point.
Austin scored another field goal in the 3rd quarter, closing the gap to 14-13 in favor of Clements.
In the 4th quarter, Elliot Coffey scored on a 5-yard run with 1:23 left. The kicked failed, and the score was Clements 20, Austin 13.
With 2 seconds left in the game, Austin scored on a 24-yard pass, making the score 20-19 in favor of the Rangers. Austin went for the 2-point conversion and the win, but Matt Heitzer foiled the pass attempt!
